February Meetings

Our next Rose City Quilters' Club meeting  is Monday 22 February.
The Lychway
5 Roy Street, Palmerston North
Doors open at 7pm - Meeting starts at 7.30pm
Visitors welcome - $3 at the door

UPDATED 12/2 : Our guest speaker this month is Janet Forbes from the Shut-In-Stitchers.
Janet is in charge of the quilting in the Drug Treatment Unit at Arohata Prison. Quilt making classes started at Arohata Prison in Tawa back in 1993 with an initial six week course. It was so successful that a group of quilters have been volunteering their time every Saturday morning for the last two decades. It is a wonderful undertaking allowing many women an opportunity to try patchwork quilting, and many have continued after their release.
Any donations of all things required for quilting would be gratefully received. There will be an area at the meeting for donations of cotton fabric, threads, patterns, rulers, cutters, batting.

Saturday Sewing this month is 20 February. See more information in the side bar or your newsletter.

Our 30th Annual Tote & Gloat will be Saturday 14th May 2016.
