Stitching for Red Cross

On Saturday, about 20 Club members got together to stitch quilts for the Red Cross. The Red Cross had purloined wool and cotton from their charity shop, here's some of the fabric:
Ladies got together in small groups and cut, ironed, and sewed:

By the end of the day 7 quilt tops (and a couple of backs), and several cushions were finished. All that needs to be done is the quilting and the Red Cross have some quilts that they can raffle off for fund raising.
Thanks to Cheryl Shirriffs for organising all the fabric, thread, patterns and letting everyone just go for it!
